EVANSVILLE DATELINE

Rose A. Wilkerson, age 72, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville after losing her battle with A.L.S. She was born November 1, 1946 in Haubstadt, IN to Frank and Mary Louise (Schneider) Seib. Rose retired from Wolf’s Bar-B-Q restaurant after 50 years of service.

She enjoyed playing bingo, skipbo, clabber, embroidering and making quilts. She loved baking items for her family and neighbors. She loved spending time with family, friends and especially her grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her 2 sons, Mark (Lisa) Wilkerson and Mike (Laura Conlin) Wilkerson.

2 granddaughters, Ashley and Megan Wilkerson and 1 great-granddaughter, Raelee Wilkerson.

2 sisters, Dorothy (Tom) Shoulders and Mary (Melvin) Willman. 2
Brothers, Andy (Anna Mae) Seib and Syl (Mary) Seib. 1 sister-in-law, Debbie Seib. Several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and 2 brothers, Leo and Rob Seib.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 12 at Wade Funeral Home in Haubstadt.
Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Haubstadt.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 PM Sunday, August 11 and 10 to 11 AM Monday, August 12 at the funeral home.

We will be forever grateful for the great care from the nurses and staff at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in her final hours.
