HAUBSTADT DATELINE

Mary Margaret “Margie” Harpenau, 80 passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Evansville. She was born August 27, 1938 in Bristow, IN to the late Hilary and Nell (LeClere) Kluesner.

Margie was a beautician in Haubstadt for 30 years and
formerly a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt.

Margie was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Harpenau in 2004. 1 brother, Donald Kluesner and 2 sisters, Patricia Ann Kluesner and Carolyn Branam.

She is survived by her sons, Rich (Connie), Jeff (Lisa) and Brian Harpenau all of Evansville. Grandchildren: Dr. Erin Harpenau, Kelsey (Nick Austin) Harpenau, Natalie Harpenau, Jessica (Damon) Krometis, Adam Harpenau and Nicholas Harpenau. 1 sister, Nancy (Bill) Rohl, 1 brother, Linus (Nancy) Kluesner and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday, February 21 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with burial following in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, February 20 at Wade Funeral Home in Haubstadt with a Rosary service beginning at 3:30 PM. Friends may also call from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at the church.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Pine Haven for their care and friendship.
